Ha Long Bay is one of the most popular travel destinations in Vietnam as well as Worldwide. The name Halong literately means descending dragon. The name follows the historical vestige that the origins of Vietnam came a fairy and a dragon. As the story is told, thousands of karsts were placed in Ha Long Bay by God to protect Vietnam from its enemies.
